Doctor Who is the longest-running science-fiction television series of all known time. The original BBC series ran from 1963-1989 and is a cult classic. Reinvented in 2005 for a new generation, Doctor Who took British television by storm. Even more popular with children and adults than before, it has been a phenomenal success at home and overseas and has received over 30 awards.
