Artist William Hogarth's (Toby Jones, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) relationship with prostitute Mary Collins (Zoe Tapper, Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont) in 1731 brought the obscure artist fame, wealth and respectability by tracing her degraded demise. Hogarth's "A Harlot's Progress," his famed series of six paintings inspired by Collins, also raised the thorny issue of moralizing art.
