Edina, trendsetter extraordinaire, and her man-hungry friend Patsy bring you high-fashion hilarity that never goes out of style. Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley star in one of the most popular comedies in BBC history.

In Series 3 Edina gets an electronic organiser and a plans to become a model - of efficiency that is. And what's more efficient than flying to New York on Concorde for a doorknob? On New Year's Eve, she has a full house, including Patsy's ultra-glam sister. But Edina's not going to let the crowd interfere with her resolution to have more fun. Then Edina and Patsy plan to get in touch with their inner sexuality - they've scheduled an orgy! Saffy leaves home to attend college, Patsy decides to move to New York and suddenly Edina is free to change the whole direction of her life...
Door Handle - Eddy's kitchen is being rebuilt after Patsy burnt it down with a rogue cigarette. Eddy is determined to make sure her new decor is perfectly co-ordinated.

Eddy treats her seach for the perfect matching door handle as if she were hunting the Holy Grail. She flies on Concorde to New York taking Patsy with her on her quest.

While galavanting round the Big Apple they bump into some rather disreputable characters. Edina even finds time to have her navel pierced. When they get home Saffy reveals that it is her birthday - Eddy has forgotten. Will she be able to rustle up a present?

Happy New Year - Saffy has plans for New Year's Eve - a quiet night in with Mother, her dad Justin and his boyfriend Oliver. But this homely setup won't do for Patsy and Eddy. They plan to see in the new year in style by attending an underground rave in a carpark.

All plans are halted, however, by the arrival of Patsy’s long lost sister Jackie. Once a renowned 60s party animal Jackie is now 72. Patsy is horrified to see how she has aged. The rave now scuppered they all end up celebrating in boring Saffron-style.

Sex - Eddy has become frustrated with the size of her bedroom and wants it expanded. The best option is to knock down the wall to Serge's room. Eddy and Patsy begin a clear up operation on his old room. While rummaging through his stuff they find an adult magazine.

Eddy and Patsy are reminded of the days when they used to hold orgies. Eddy realises that it's been a very long time since she had sex. Despite Saffy's understandable objections, Patsy talks Eddy into hiring two male prostitutes. Of course, things don't go with quite the bang that was hoped...

Jealous - PR-land quakes with anticipation as the award season approaches. Edina, having paid for them, naturally expects to win her fair share. Arch rival Claudia Bing has other ideas. Eddy misses out on PR Person of the Year Award and wants revenge.

Meanwhile, Saffy gets some extra special education from her psychology lecturer. Supermodel Naomi Campbell puts in an appearance as herself, but where is Lulu when you need her?

Fear - Patsy shacks up with Edina after Saffy leaves for University. The pair are find it hard to survive alone. Neither of them can find or use the tin opener. On the bright side Saffy's departure means that they can enjoy whiskey, ice cream and techno music whenever they want.

Everything gets significantly worse for Eddy when Lulu decides to join a more efficient American PR company. If all this wasn't bad enough, Patsy’s magazine folds and she loses her job (a.k.a. the best free ride of her life). They are both faced with a major crossroads in their lives. Will they pull through?

The End - Eddy and Patsy decide to go their separate ways. Patsy flies to New York to try her hand as a magazine editor. A lonely Eddy joins a commune in search of her real self. Mother is left at home to become addicted to the shopping channel.

Soon both Eddy and Patsy realise that life just isn’t the same without the other. Eddy hires a helicopter to track her best mate down. Fortunately, Patsy has become disillusioned with her new job. When Eddy turns up, Patsy is only too pleased to make a break and head back to London.
