The Mysterious Affair at Styles
Hastings is staying with the Inglethornes and finds Emily Inglethorne murdered. With the whole household under suspicion, Hastings sends for his old friend Hercule Poirot.

Hickory Dickory Dock
A string of thefts at a student hostel run by Miss Lemon's sister ends in death, and Poirot has a number of plots and sub-plots to untangle, including smuggling and political manipulations. A certain mouse is the only witness to a string of murders and it also features at the climax.

Meanwhile, Poirot invites Japp to stay with him while Mrs Japp is away. Hastings is also off on his travels, and the dim police inspector vies with Poirot over the cooking.

The ABC Murders
Three bodies are found. Beside each lies a copy of the ABC Railway Guide. The police are baffled. But the killer has made one mistake. He has challenged Hercule Poirot to unmask him.

One, Two, Buckle My Shoe
After Poirot pays a routine visit to his dentist, the doctor apparently shoots himself to death a short time later. Chief Inspector Japp appropriately recruits the detective as both witness and consultant.

Murder on the Links
Poirot and Hastings are in Deauville, and Poirot is approached by business-man Paul Renaud concerning threats by Chileans. The next morning the maid finds Madame Renaud bound and gagged and her husband's corpse is later found on a nearby golf course. Giraud, a pompous French police officer, dismissive of Poirot's reputation, lays a wager with him. The detective who fails to catch the killer must make a sacrifice. Giraud will relinquish his trade mark pipe. Poirot must shave off his moustache.

Death in the Clouds
After spending a bit of a holiday in Paris, Poirot finds himself on a flight to London with an odd assortment of people, some of whom he had met during his stay. When one of the passengers, Madame Gisele, is murdered during the flight by a poisoned dart, Poirot is asked by Inspector Japp of Scotland Yard to assist with the investigation. Gisele was a well-known moneylender with penchant towards blackmail. When Lady Horbury denies knowing the dead woman - which Poirot knows is false - the police clearly have their prime suspect. Poirot however, sees a far more complex plot to gain access to the victims money.

Peril at End House
While on vacation in Cornwall, Poirot and Hastings meet the charming Miss Nick Buckley, who says she has narrowly avoided death several times. She doesn't take it seriously, but Poirot suspects foul play. When Nick's cousin Maggie is mistaken for her and is shot dead, Poirot's fears are confirmed. Poirot, Hastings, and Japp investigate the threats on Nick's life and the murder of her cousin.

Dumb Witness
Poirot and Hastings are at Lake Windermere for an attempt on the world speed-boat record. Two sisters have premonitions of danger. Soon a rich elderly widow is hurt by falling down stairs, then later she is killed by poisoning with phosphorus.

Hercule Poirot's Christmas
Poirot plans a quiet Christmas in London until learning that it also will be a cold one, owing to his flat's broken boiler. When a wealthy old man calls for the detective's help, Poirot opts for a working holiday at the man's well-heated country estate. No warmth exudes from the home's occupants however, and Poirot winds up with a murder to solve, family politics to unravel and shocking revelations from the past to sort out. For help he turns to Cheif Inspector Japp, who is greatful to be rescued from Christmas with the in-laws.
Angelic choir voices and English Christmas cheer punctuate this special movie-length version of the popular TV series seen on PBS and A&E. David Suchet stars as the quintessential Poirot, perfect from his distinctive moustache to his spotless spats. Crime-solving was never so tidy or so much fun! Also staring Philip Jackson as Inspector Japp.

Mrs. McGinty's Dead
Poirot races to save an innocent man from the gallows

When a jury convicts James Bentley (Joe Absolom, Vincent) for the murder of his landlady, even the police superintendent (Richard Hope, The Bill) believes they've got the wrong man. At the superintendent's behest, Hercule Poirot (David Suchet) begins a search for new evidence. He bumps into an old friend, mystery novelist Ariadne Oliver (Zoë Wanamaker, My Family), who lends her woman's intuition to the investigation. It seems that many of the victim's former employers have "a skeleton in the armoire," as Poirot puts it. But when an unknown assailant makes an attempt on the detective's life, the case takes on greater urgency.

Cat Among the Pigeons
Poirot ferrets out a killer at an all-girls academy
At the Meadowbank School, Miss Bulstrode (Harriet Walter, Atonement) counts girls from England's finest families among her young charges. And she treats them all as equals-even the royalty, like Princess Shaista of Ramat, a political refugee under constant threat from revolutionaries in her country. Yet, to the headmistress's friend Hercule Poirot (David Suchet), the school seems a world in microcosm, full of "hopes, dreams, fears, and secrets." The famous detective delves into those secrets after a vicious murder shocks the students and staff. As the attacks escalate, he aims to find the perpetrator before more students leave and threaten the school's survival.

Three Act Tragedy

DEADLY DINNERS WHET POIROT'S INVESTIGATIVE APPETITE

While visiting the Cornish coast, Hercule Poirot (David Suchet) attends a dinner at which one of the guests suddenly dies. An inquest finds no evidence of foul play. But Poirot's host, renowned stage actor Sir Charles Cartwright, thinks otherwise, and another death at a later party with the same guests seems to confirm his suspicions. Together with Sir Charles and his vivacious friend Egg, Poirot applies "la technique classique"-eliminating the suspects, one by one.

The Clocks

POIROT IDENTIFIES A MAN WHOSE TIME RAN OUT

While trying to unmask a mole at Dover's military base, Lt. Colin Race enlists Poirot to help him aid a pretty secretary apparently framed for murder. Called to a residence on a quiet street for a temporary typing job, she found only a man's corpse lying on the floor. No one can identify the body, find a murder weapon, or explain the presence of four strange clocks-none of which belongs in the home, and all of which stopped at 4:13.

Hallowe'en Party

POIROT LOOKS FOR GHOSTS FROM A YOUNG GIRL'S PAST

Wholesome fun at Woodleigh Common turns harrowing when a children's Halloween party ends in the murder of 13-year-old Joyce Reynolds. Poirot is summoned by an old acquaintance, crime novelist Ariadne Oliver, to help in the investigation. He seizes on a clue: immediately before her death, Joyce had boasted of having witnessed a murder several years before, although she didn't realize it was a murder at the time. Although everyone pooh-poohs her claim, Poirot knows that "old sins cast long shadows."
