The second and final season of the Campion mysteries! More dramatic and daring adventures for the enigmatic sleuth and his sidekick.

Behind his distinctive owlish glasses and gentle, deceptive naiveté, Albert Campion conceals a passion for excitement and danger. Peter Davison (All Creatures Great and Small, Doctor Who) plays Margery Allingham's enigmatic sleuth, with Brian Glover as his loyal but slightly shady manservant in these classic mysteries set in the 1930's.

Includes the episodes:
Sweet Danger, Dancers In Mourning, Flowers for the Judge, Mystery Mile

Sweet Danger
Averna, a tiny Dalmatian state of equally small significance, has long been the domain of the venerable Fitton family. But now Averna has attracted the interest of robber baron Brett Savanake. Whoever can show possession of the Pontsbright crown and documents will be entitled to claim Averna. Campion and Lugg come to the aid of the beautiful, young Amanda Fitton and her family in a fine old-fashioned treasure hunt.

Dancers in Mourning
Jimmy Sutane, brilliant musical comedy star and toast of London’s West End theatre scene, falls victim to a series of malicious practical jokes. As the strain begins to affect Jimmy’s performance, Campion and Lugg step behind the scenes to catch the perpetrator in the act. One night, as the hoofer entertains guests at his Sussex residence, the plot takes a deadly turn.

Flowers for the Judge
Campion is determined to prove his friend’s innocence when the Golden Quill publishing company suffers the scandal of a murder in its ranks. As Campion digs deeper into the hidden secrets of the company and its staff, a second murder occurs. Will Campion prove his friend’s innocence before the murderer gets to him?

Mystery Mile
When a ruthless gang of mobsters threatens the life of an eminent American judge, Campion comes to the rescue, hiding him away in the remote village of Mystery Mile. Soon the judge disappears and a strange Turkish art expert arrives. The village locals begin to panic, and once more Campion finds himself in the thick of danger and intrigue.
