Carrie's War

At the start of World War II, 14-year-old Carrie (Keeley Fawcett, At Home with the Braithwaites) and her younger brother are evacuated from war-torn London to a small Welsh village. While they may be safe from the bombs of the blitz, Carrie finds herself in the midst of a troubled family—the strict shopkeeper Mr. Evans, his spinster sister Lou and their estranged sister, Mrs. Gotobed, who occupies a mysterious manor house with a self-professed witch named Hephzibah. Filled with magical adventures, this heartwarming adaptation of Nina Bawden’s beloved novel is sure to delight the whole family.
