Series 1
Good Luck Father Ted - Father Ted gets the chance to become a TV star when a crew arrives from the mainland to interview him for Faith of our Fathers. Unfortunately Father Dougal and Father Jack are on hand to shatter his dreams in a terrifying finale at Funland – the world’s worst funfair.
Entertaining Father Stone - For six years Father Stone has been coming to Craggy Island which is at least seven years too many for Father Ted, Father Dougal and Father Jack. Having tried everything to get him to go, a shaken Ted requests Divine intervention....
The Passion of St. Tibulus - Through some loophole a blasphemous film, banned by the Pope, opens on Craggy Island. Father Ted and Father Dougal are ordered by their boss, Bishop Brennan, to mount a protest. In true Father Ted style – their efforts have unexpected results.
Competition Time - TV personality Henry Sellers arrives on Craggy Island to judge the annual All Priests Lookalike Competition. Father Ted, who does a mean Mother Teresa, fancies his chances, but arch rival father Dick Byrne has his eye on the prize....
And God Created Woman - The visit of a group of star-struck nuns for Ted’s annual “Nun Mass” is complicated by the arrival of glamorous novelist Polly Clarke.
Grant Unto Him Eternal - Father Jack consumes more floor polish than is good for him, but his sudden death leaves Ted and Dougal in the money. There is, however, one provison in the Will – because of Jack’s terrible fear of being buried alive they must spend a night watching over his body in an eerie crypt....
Series 2
Hell - It’s time for the Fathers’ annual two-week vacation. A suspicious couple, an over-excitable youth group, and a lot of rain conspire to turn the trip into a Dante-esque experience.
Think Fast, Father Ted - Giving away a car at a fundraising raffle will surely raise money to save the house roof from near collapse. But what happens when the car is badly damaged with amateur body work, and is replaced by a borrowed car from a dancing priest?
Tentacles of Doom - A holy and ancient relic on the Island is being blessed in a special ceremony. As three visiting bishops arrive to conduct the rites, a crisis of faith, an overbearing bishop, and a faulty toilet result in death, destruction, and hilarious horror.
The Old Grey Whistle Theft - Coinciding with the visit of a young priest, a supervisor’s special whistle is stolen. As the islanders become hysterical about the breakdown of law and order, the police begin to suspect a priest is responsible.
Song For Europe - Fueled by rivalry with another priest, Father Ted and Father Dougal decide to “borrow” a tune from another contest hopeful to attain victory. With inspired lyrics, a jaunty tune, and the right attitude, they stand a good chance. But fate has one more card to deal.
The Plague - While investigating a charge against Father Jack of nude sleepwalking, a visiting bishop (with an intense phobia of rabbits) veers into crisis mode when Father Dougal’s once-hidden pet bunny, Sampras, seems to be the cause of rabbit proliferation on the island.
Rock-A-Hula Ted - Militant feminism and old-fashioned, wholesome womanhood go head-to-head as Father Ted judges a Lovely Girls Competition, at the same time an aggressive protest singer visits the island as a potential spot for a new home.
Cigarettes and Alcohol and Rollerblading - It's Lent and Father Ted has decided to give up smoking. Father Dougal has given up rollerblading and Father Jack has been forced, against his will, to give up the drink. Their sacrifices prove to be diffcult to cope with, so Ted calls in Sister Assumpta to supervise their self-sacrifice. She proves to be an out-and-out sadist.
New Jack City - Father Jack’s incredibly hairy hands get him sent off to the Old Priests’ Home for treatment. Jack’s replacement is even more trouble, so Ted and Dougal decide to mount a ‘Guns of Navarrone’-style rescue operation to get him back.
Flight into Terror - Flying back from a visit to a holy shrine, the priestly trio find themselves in mortal danger when another Father goes mad in the cockpit and causes Dougal to do something really, really stupid. With just a bit of fuel left, Ted comes up with a plan on how to dole out the last two parachutes.
Series 3
Are You Right There, Father Ted? - Ted faces accusations of prejudice when he inadvertently offends the Chinese community of Craggy Island. Dougal seems to come up with the perfect solution to restore Ted's reputation - a special event to celebrate all the cultural diversity of Craggy Island. Meanwhile, Mrs. Doyle is suffering from a bad back since falling off the roof and Dougal is the proud owner of a new hamster.
Chirpy Burpy Cheap Sheep - There's a beast terrorizing Craggy Island and Chris the Sheep, hot favorite for the annual "King of the Sheep" Festival, has a bad case of nerves. A "shadow of a sheep", Chris is off his food, he's not sleeping and he's even started to burp. Having bet the entire annual heating allowance on Chris to win the competition, Ted is determined to nurture the sheep back to health. As the big day draws near all is not what it seems in this high profile sheep competition and it doesn't take Ted too long to figure out what's going on.
Escape from Victory - It's the annual "All Priests Over-75s Soccer Challenge Match" against Rugged Island, and Ted suspects that Father Dick Byrne will stop at nothing to win. With Craggy Island's ace center forward Father Jack sound asleep after drinking an entire bottle of Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozy Snooze (an alcoholic chocolate sleeping aid banned in most of Europe), Ted is in deep trouble.
Kicking Bishop Brennan Up the Arse - Having lost his bet on the "All Priests Over-75s Soccer Challenge Match", Father Ted has to pay a forfeit and kick Bishop Brennan up the arse. It's a matter of pride and Ted is determined to honor the bet. But the consequences of committing such a sacrilegious act weigh heavily on his mind as Ted nervously awaits a visit from the intimidating Bishop and his assistant, Father Jessup - the most sarcastic priest in Ireland.
Speed 3 - The sacking of Craggy Island's playboy milkman, Pat Mustard, leads to Dougal taking on the local milkrun. A jealous Pat plants a bomb on the milktruck, and from then on it's a race against time for Ted to avert disaster. Move over Sandra Bullock - Dougal is at the wheel and must (somehow) stay above four miles an hour.
The Mainland – A trip to the mainland always leads to trouble, and Ted is deeply nervous at the prospect. Ted’s misgivings are justified, as he has to bail Mrs. Doyle, Mrs. Dineen and Father Jack out of prison and Dougal and Ted go on a tour of ‘The Very Dark Caves’.
Night of the Nearly Dead - Singing sensation Eoin McLove (at #1 for 27 weeks in the charts with My Lovely Mayo Mammy) secretly visits Mrs. Doyle for tea after she wins a poetry competition on his TV show. Unfortunately, the secret leaks out and the house is besieged by Eoin's devoted elderly fans...
Going to America - An act of uncharacteristic heroism by Ted leads to a job offer in America - his very own parish in Beverly Hills! With his lifetime's ambition about to be realized, Ted has only one problem - how to tell Father Jack, Father Dougal and Mrs. Doyle that they're not invited.
Christmas Special
A Christmassy Ted - All Father Ted wants is “a nice quiet Christmas with no unusual incidents or strange people turning up.” It's unimaginable, of course, that Ted's prayer will be heard above the pandemonium of the Parochial House.
