Volume 2 of the Brit-teen cult favorite is finally here, and there's a lot of drama in store as the Skins gang takes a turn for the worst. Our old crew is back with a vengeance as they desperately try to figure out their place in the world, but all while having a spectacularly explosive time. After all, it's not considered living without drugs, stalkers, deep dark secrets, contorted romantic entanglements, and, oh yes, school.
The critically acclaimed drama that follows the chaotic lives and lusts of a group of weed-toting, hard partying British teenagers.
It's been six months since Tony's collision with a bus-remarkably he isn't dead, but he sure isn't the same person. Sid can't get his head around the fact that his best mate is a shadow of the man he's always looked up to. And to top it off he finally got the girl, Cassie, only to have her whisked off to Scotland. Michelle is lost without Tony too. Maxxie's got hell at home because his dad doesn't want him to follow his dream of being a dancer. Even Anwar has changed since he bagged himself a secret girlfriend. Jal is throwing off the good girl image and letting her hair down, and party animal Chris is stepping out on his own. And while everything is falling apart, it's Effy who's taking control.
Episodes 1 - Tony is recovering from the massive head injury he sustained at the end of Episode Nine. Looking after an invalid friend has just been too much for Sid and Michelle. Therefore, Maxxie is looking after Tony for the day. Maxxie and Tony are both at odds with their parents over their choices: Maxxie wants to leave college and become a dancer, while Tony wants to return to college despite his crippling injuries.
Episode 2 - Sketch is a weird loner who is shut up in a horrible apartment looking after her disabled Mum. Searching for anything to rescue her from her isolated world, Sketch has become obsessed with Maxxie. The problem? He's gay, and he doesn't even know she exists. Sketch is prepared to do anything to get her man, and if she can't have him, she's going to make sure nobody can. As the college production of "Osama: The Musical" teeters towards disaster, Sketch finally comes face-to-face with the man of her dreams. But will she get him?
Episode 3 - Sid is in a funk. His best friend Tony is a shadow of the man he was, and Cassie has moved away to Scotland, where as far as he can tell, she is having the time of her life. His mood is not helped when his dying grandfather arrives to make Sid's father's life a misery. And he's brought Sid's transcendently stupid Uncle Sandy along for good measure. To add insult to injury, Sid's world is completely destroyed when a surprising tragedy strikes
Episode 4 - Michelle's mother has gone and gotten married again. And, to make matters worse, Michelle has to move in with them into their new, fancy house. Michelle develops an instant dislike for her new, large-breasted, emotionally manipulative step-sister, Scarlett. Before Michelle knows what's happening, Scarlett is invading her life, co-opting her friends, and offering unwanted advice about what to do about the still incapacitated Tony. When Scarlett inveigles herself onto the group camping trip to the Gower and starts to move in on the emotionally fragile Sid, Michelle takes drastic measures that she'll live to regret.
Episode 5 - It's been a long road full of tribulations, drugs, petty theft, and resounding failure for Chris at College. So when the security cameras catch him shagging Buck Tooth in the Science Corridor, the Director calls time; Chris is expelled from school and evicted from his college dorm. Homeless and pretty much screwed, Chris is going down hill fast, until Jal steps in with a challenge: get a job, get some focus, and she'll try to be a "better friend." So Chris gets a job - several of them in fact - he just can't stop being fired. His life at an all-time low, he and Jal get closer, and their friendship takes an unexpected turn...
Episode 6 - Tony's world is a strange one. Isolated, alone, and desperate to find the way back to himself, he lives in a world of confusion. Nobody understands how he feels, except the strange beautiful girl he meets in a club after a panic-stricken encounter with Sid and Michelle. Who is she? What is she trying to say to him? And when Tony goes to a university open day and runs into her again, his head tells him that she is an angel. The only thing is - can he ever trust his head again?
Episode 7 - What is it about Effy? The mystery girl's had a lot to deal with: the Stonem house is in disarray, Jim's working abroad, Anthea's away with the fairies, and Tony's moping after Michelle. On top of this, Effy has her art coursework deadline looming. She basically has to solve the world's problems without losing her reputation for being the wildest kid on the block. However, when she least expects it, a new friend transforms Effy's world.
Episode 8 - Jal's trying to keep the pregnancy a secret until she works out what the hell she's going to do. But Spanish oral exams, A-level revisions, music auditions, and needy friends are pressing down on her, and her secret is starting to leak out. What's more, Chris has asked her to move in. Will a visit from her mother make everything better? Or will she discover that Chris has a secret of his own?
Episode 9 - What's bugging Cassie? She's back together with Sid, Chris is in the clear, Michelle and Tony are back on, A-level exams are over, and to celebrate, Sid's organized a dinner party where everyone tries to get along. Everyone except Cassie, that is. How can everyone forgive and forget, especially when all this love is mixed in with so much pain? And when life throws all of them a curveball, the pain only gets worse.
Episode 10 - It's the day of A-level results. And, sadly, it's also the day of Chris' funeral. The friends have made a pact not to look at their grades until after they've said goodbye to Chris. But Jal can't face getting out of bed, and Cassie's half way around the world. Then, to cap it off, Chris's dad appears and tells Sid that he and the gang are banned from the funeral. What will they do? Will they be able to say their goodbyes to Chris? And will they have to say goodbye to each other as well? It's the end of an era, and everything will change.
