Join Stephen Ezard (Benedict Cumberbatch, Atonement) on a frenetic ride through the paranoia of a futuristic London. Trying to make sense of his brother's secret life and sudden death, Stephen discovers an international conspiracy under the omnipresent and menacing eye of government surveillance. A BBC thriller, as seen on Masterpiece.

Episode 1 - Stephen Ezard returns to England to mourn the death of his brother Michael, an aid worker in Afghani refugee camps killed by a landmine. As Stephen tries to learn more about Michael's death, he falls in love with his brother's widow Yasim Anwar, becomes a pawn in a government technology surveillance scheme and gets targeted by rogue agent David Russell. Can Stephen take control of his life again and solve the growing mystery around Michael's death?

Episode 2 - Stephen is kidnapped by Russell, who believes Stephen may be know crucial information. Yasim fears that Michael was murdered while trying to prove a link between a tainted batch of vaccine potentially used in the refugee camps and the virus that killed Nadir. Stephen agrees to help her find another scientist to carry out tests on Nadir's body, but there are other people with different plans altogether.

Episode 3 - Stephen and Yasim join forces with Russell to find out about the tainted vaccine and what killed Nadir. Using TIA, they target a worker at the vaccine manufacturer to get more information. As Stephen uncovers more, he finds the vaccine factory is linked to the deaths of four leading biochemists.

Episode 4 - Stephen and Yasim continue their pursuit of the truth about the tainted vaccine. After he has a blinding revelation, Stephen soon finds himself stripped of his identity and homeless.

Episode 5 - Sent to retrieve blood samples from the refugees dying from the tainted vaccine, Stephen has a startling revelation that sends him racing to expose the truth before all evidence is destroyed.
