Unnatural Vices
Part 1 - When the dissected remains of a human are found in a torched suitcase on a patch of wasteland, Dr Tony Hill is called in to assist DI Alex Fielding with the case, and together they investigate the possibility that the young Kurdish woman was the victim of an honor killing. Meanwhile, new team member DC Collins's relationship with an older schoolteacher gets him involved in the case in a way he could never have imagined.
Part 2 - When new team member DC Collins receives a shocking token from the killer, Tony forces him to confess that he had a relationship with the killer's latest victim, making him a potential target. As the investigation moves into the shady sado-masochistic underbelly of Bradfield, Tony realizes that the key to finding the killer means he'll have to consider things too terrible for Alex Fielding to even contemplate. In so doing, Tony begins his personal battle with the killer.
Falls the Shadow
Part 1 - Tony finds himself a suspect in a murder inquiry when a female friend he meets at a psychology convention is brutally murdered in her hotel room, and it turns out Tony was the last person to see her alive. Back in Bradfield, Tony put himself at risk when he tries to help Alex investigate a spate of prostitute murders.
Part 2 - Tony Hill is arrested as the police's prime suspect when another of his friends is attacked and drowned. Desperate to prove his innocence, Tony brings his entire psychological prowess to bear in finding the real killer, but could he be the murderer's next target?
From the Defeated
Part 1 - When a young gay murder victim is linked to the killing of a second young man, Tony is called in to investigate the bizarre chain of murders. Elsewhere, the cannibal in the secure unit who Tony helped to convict claims that he has found God. But when Tony warns the governor and the prison chaplain to be cautious, they ignore his advice - a potential recipe for disaster.
Part 2 - When the killings stop inexplicably and a widowed mother is abducted, Tony realizes that the killer's intentions go beyond murder and his ambitions are not limited solely to young men. The team is plunged into a desperate race to find the missing woman before the abductor enacts the next stage of his violent plan - and all the while, Tony is aware that Michael is still at large and must be dealt with.
The Dead Land
Part 1 - When Alex takes time off following a family bereavement, Tony is partnered with the ambitious DI Andy Hall on a case involving murdered homeless men. Meanwhile, Tony is stalked by someone who has a penchant for leaving strange gifts on his doorstep, and it soon becomes clear that it is someone he is very familiar with...
Part 2 - The details of the rituals used in the murders of the homeless men become clear, and a witness from beyond the grave leads the team to a suspect who seems like the killer in every way. Tony realizes that not all the victims are as they first appeared, and he discovers that the link to the killer's identity may have been under their noses all along.
